Yes you heard me right.
Avoid early class as far away as possible. This is hell, I should’ve trusted my guts.
Fall 2015 I took one un-inspirational class. It is Introduction to Engineering, but I’d say more appropriately “Introduction to be a Disciplined Person”. The class does not really teach anything useful, an acquaintance called it “a joke”.
But I failed it, why ? I’m glad you asked.
Because assignments can only be given in class. The class is 8 AM and I never woke up at freaking 8 AM. Voila, I all my assignments are rejected. This was meant to be an easy intro class where you will pass flying colors just by participating in class, and don’t be late even 5 min.
I took the class on the basis of, no other schedule was available, and it is given once a year. Well I had no choice I thought. Big mistake.
In hindsight, I should’ve taken another class. Would’ve spent my time more productively that way.
Disclaimer: I admit it was an planning mistake. But I do work hard, I did extremely well in all my other difficult classes (that do not require waking up early), as I’ve always done. I just have a no negotiation schedule.
Cheers
